From A Buried Time at Rich Mix, Shoreditch
At the Royal Academy of Arts
I’m also a poet and have performed my work at the Roundhouse, Bestival, Royal Academy of Arts, the UK Young Artists festival in 2019, and Citadel festival.
I was a member of the Roundhouse Poetry Collective from 2016-2017 and was a Roundhouse Resident Artist from 2018-2019.
In 2017, I co-founded None of the Above collective with my fellow Roundhouse alumni and together we wrote a show called A Buried Time, directed by John Berkavitch. We performed at the Phoenix Arts Club, the Roundhouse, and Rich Mix in 2018.
I performed my first one-woman show at the Roundhouse in June 2019. It’s a 30-minute autobiographical piece about OCD entitled Anything on Your Mind, Babe?
I’m a Front of House volunteer at the Battersea Arts Centre. I recently helped young artists set up their exhibitions for the Homegrown Art Gallery. I also volunteer at Meet Me at the Albany, a programme developed by the Albany and Entelechy Arts. It consists of creative workshops, activities and events aimed at tackling loneliness in older people.
I like to push myself outside of my comfort zone to learn new things and grow in confidence. I recently started taking improv classes and have performed upstairs at The Miller in South London.
I love plays, musicals, TV shows, poetry (obviously), and films. Check out my reviews of things I’ve seen on the ‘Reviews’ page. I also like vintage Eastenders, hun culture, cats, long walks, seaside towns, ghost stories, and the Graham Norton Show.
